A new version of Maruti Suzuki’ Ertiga has been spotted in Indonesia. The next generation MPV is expected to hit Indian shores later this year.
The car was spied earlier also and the new pictures do not reveal much as it is covered with heavy camouflage.
From the pictures, it seems to be wider than the current model with slightly longer rear overhang which should make the third row a bit more comfortable.
Coming to specifications, the new car is expected to be based on HEARTECT platform. Like the current model, it is expected with a 1.4-litre petrol engine that offers of maximum power of 92 bhp and in a 1.3-litre diesel engine that offers 89 bhp of power. Maruti Suzuki is said to be working on a 1.5-litre diesel engine model too.
A new Infotainment system is also expected in the next-gen Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
The price of the current model starts from Rs 6.34 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). However, we cannot assume the price point of the new model.
