MTS today has launched a couple of pre-paid and post-paid data tariff plans for it subscribers starting at Rs 499. The most interesting one being a pre-paid plan where 5 GB of data, along with free access to Viber and WhatApp, under fair usage policy, for Rs 499.
Other pre-paid data plans include 1 GB for Rs 248 and 20 GB for Rs 999. As far as the postpaid users are concerned plans start from Rs 550 for 10 GB and goes upto Rs 999 for 40 GB of data.
Also, if one purchases a new data card they have to pay Rs 1,299 and along with it they will 10 GB data free which has to used within 15 days.
The company has launched these plans and dongle as a part of MTS Homespot program which is essentially a plug and play solution to provide instant WiFi to multiple users.
