Meizu E3 specs and pricing surface ahead of launch

Meizu E3 is likely to take on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 in terms of performance.

Meizu will be launching its Meizu E3 smartphone on March 21 in China at a launch event to be held at National Convention Center in Beijing at 21:30 PM local time. Now ahead of the launch, Meizu E3 complete specifications and pricing have been leaked online.

As per Chinese website My Driver, Meizu E3 will feature a 5.99-inch full HD+ (2160 x 1080) display. It will be-be fueled by the Snapdragon 636 64-bit octa-core processor. Meizu E3 will sport a dual camera setup of 12-megapixel and 2-megapixel with Sony’s IMX363 sensor. It will be fueled by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery with 20W fast charging and will run on 7.1.1 Nougat.

For the pricing, Meizu M3 will reportedly be priced at 1,500 Yuan for 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and 1,999 Yuan for 6GB and 128GB internal storage.

A recent report revealed that Meizu E3 will take on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 in terms of performance.

Meizu E3 was earlier spotted on Chinese certification site, TENAA, with model numbers M851M and 851Q revealing some key specs.

Meizu E3 features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with a screen of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphone will be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor, though there is no mention of the name. The phone will be backed by a 4GB/ 6GB of RAM and it will be available in 32GB/64GB/128GB of storage options. The memory can be further expanded up to 128 via micro card slot.

On the camera front, the Meizu E3 features dual rear cameras with a combination of a 12-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel shooter. For the front, there will be an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone is backed by a 3300mAh battery with fast charging support and it runs on Flyme OS 6.2 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. On the connectivity front, the Meizu E3 supports VoLTE, 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, dual SIM, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n and port.
