Maruti Suzuki launches Celerio Tour H2: Designed for Cab and Taxi drivers

Maruti Suzuki has added very limited features in the LXI (O) variant, it comes with ABS, front airbags, manual AC, fog lamps, black side mirrors, halogen headlamp and power steering

India’s leading car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki has announced the launch of a new taxi version – Celerio hatchback. Dubbed as the Celerio Tour H2, it is specially designed for cab aggregators at a price tag of Rs 4.28 lakhs (ex-showroom).

The major highlight of the Tour H2 is that it comes with a speed-limiting device which is limited to the top speed of 80 kmph according to the regulations of the Indian Government. Other than this, Maruti Suzuki has added very limited features in the LXI (O) variant, it comes with ABS, front airbags, manual AC, fog lamps, black side mirrors, halogen headlamp and power steering.

Similar to the other variants, it is powered by a 998cc, 3-cylinder petrol engine, which is capable of generating 68 bhp of power at 6000 RPM and the maximum torque of 90 Nm at 3500 RPM. It is mated with a 5-speed manual transmission. Further, Celerio is a 5-seater car with the boot storage of 235-litres which weighs 850 Kg.

Meanwhile, Hyundai is all set to unveil its next-generation of vehicles at the Auto Expo 2018 in India. The company will launch around 15 cars during the event with themajor highlight being on the 2018 Hyundai i20.
