Redmi is working on a flagship smartphone which will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset. Now a fresh video leak of the alleged upcoming Redmi phone has surfaced online.
As per the video leak, first spotted by SlashLeaks, the alleged Redmi Pro 2 has a hole punch display in the middle of the upper part of the display. The video has claimed that the phone featured in it is the Redmi Pro 2. The smartphone has minimum bezels on the sides but the bottom chin is comparatively thicker. It is expected that the display size will be in the 6 to 6.3-inch range.
The video further shows that the phone back will feature a triple camera setup with an LED flash below the camera module. The rear side also features a physical fingerprint sensor in the middle of the phone. The video also confirms that the device will not feature a pop-up selfie camera. Though there is no branding on the device.
At the moment, we don't have any more information about the specifications or details of the smartphone and it is not confirmed if this is actually the Redmi Pro 2. We advise our readers to take this information with a pinch of salt.
An earlier leak revealed a pop-up selfie camera as well as a triple camera setup at the back. But Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing recently clarified that their Snapdragon 855 powered flagship will not have a pop-up selfie camera. The upcoming flagship is rumoured to debut as the Redmi Pro 2.
As per rumours, Redmi Pro 2 will feature a triple rear camera setup. As per the reports, the primary camera sensor could be the Sony IMX586 48 MP sensor and a second depth sensor for portrait shots.
