After launching 54 new dual cool inverter air conditioners earlier this year, LG has now announced a new washing machine with a 5-star energy rating certified by BEE. With this announcement, LG India claims to be the first in the industry 5 star rated products across its portfolio.
The new LG Washing Machine is powered by a Smart Inverter Motorwhich adjusts energy consumption at an optimum level to offer 30 percent more energy savings and up to 40 percent water savings. The motor is protected with a BMC protection which insulates the machine from dust, insects and humidity.
The machine comes with a 6 Motion Direct Drive technology which intelligently selects from 6 different wash programs. It can also sense the fabric type and provide different washes for different types of clothes and with the in-built Jet Spray+ technology, the machine will be able to spray water with more power to off dirt and excess detergent.
There are two types of special modes on the LG washing machine – Smart Motion and TurboDrum. Smart Motion offers an enhanced washing performance through three tub movements controlled by Smart Inverter. TurboDrum offers a strong water stream of rotating drum to remove tough dirt from the fabric and by pulsating in the opposite direction.
The new LG washing machine comes with a variety of wash programs including Fuzzy, Air Dry, Wool, Child Lock, Silent, Tub Clean, Jeans, Favorite, Quick Wash, Smart Cleaning and Delay. Additional features on the machine are Aqua Reserve, 10 Water Level Selection, 3-Step Wash, Health+ Filter, Deep Clean Waterfall, Express Wash and Air Dry.
LG offers a total of 10 years of warranty with its new washing machine. For safety purposes, the device has Auto Restart option, Auto Pre-Wash, Standby Power Save. Users can use the LG App on their smartphone to contact the customer case and book a service.
The new LG washing machine with a 5-star energy rating joins a list of 35 washing machines that are available in India between the price range of Rs 12,000 to Rs 40,000and load factor between 6-11 kgs.
