LG introduces new range of Gram Laptops in India, price starts at Rs 95,000

LG Gram 17 comes with 17-inch Wide Quad Extended Graphics Array (WQXGA) display which offers a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:10. It comes a Precision Glass Touchpad with four-point touch recognition, a backlit keyboard, DTS Headphone: X support and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity.

LG has expanded its PCs range in India with the launch of the LG Gram laptops available in three sizes – 17-inch, 15.6-inch and 14-inch. The new LG Gram Laptops will be available in India on Amazon starting from next week for a starting price of Rs 95,000.

Starting with the most expensive model, the LG Gram 17 with the model number 17Z990-V is available for a price of Rs 1,26,000. The Gram 17 comes with 17-inch Wide Quad Extended Graphics Array (WQXGA) display which offers a of 2560 x 1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:10.

The LG Gram 17 is powered by an 8th Generation Intel Core i7 with 8GB of DDR4 memory and 512 of solid-state drive (SSD) storage. The laptop offers MIL-STD-810G durability and can last up to 19.5 hours on a single charge through its 72W battery.

LG Gram 14, LG Gram 15, LG Gram 17

The Gram 17 comes a Precision Glass Touchpad with four-point touch recognition, a backlit keyboard with two brightness settings, DTS Headphone: X support with 11 channels for sound and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity. The laptop weighs in at 1 kg and LG says that the device is recognised as the world’s lightest laptop by Guinness World Records.

Moving on, the LG Gram 15 (model number 15Z990-V) comes with a 15.6-inch screen, 21.5-hour battery and weighs in at 1099 grams. The laptop is powered by an 8th Generation Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD storage. The LG Gram 15 can be purchased for a price of Rs 98,000.

Lastly, the LG Gram 14 (model number 14Z990-V) is available for a price of Rs 95,000. The laptop features a 14-inch display, 8th Generation Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB of SSD storage and a 21.5-hour battery.

Speaking about the launch, LG Electronics India Home Entertainment Director, Younchul Park said “We have tried to evolve LG gram in accordance to consumer needs – super-light laptops that pair performance with optimum portability. The new laptops promise to deliver what customers want, need and do with its strong performance, durability and battery life”.
