Lenovo has unveiled its latest Idea Tab A5000 tablet for the International market. The Idea Pad A5000 comes in both WiFi only and 3G variants. This 7.9mm thick tablet has a 3450 mAh battery pack as well and along with that the tablet weighs just 246 grams.
The Idea Tab A5000 features a quad core Mediatek 8389 Processor that has clock speed of 1.2 GHz which is assisted by 1 GB RAM. It has 16 GB onboard storage which can be further expanded to up to 32 GB. The Idea Tab A5000 features a 7 inch display with capacitive touch and 1200 x 8000 pixel resolution. Along with that the display features 350 nits of brightness making it one of the brightest tablet displays around.
The tablet is powered with newer Android Jelly Bean 4.2 operating system. The tablet features a 5 Megapixel rear camera capable of video recording while it also has a 1.6 megapixel camera in the front for video calling.
The Lenovo Idea Pad A5000 would be made available starting later this month. The price of the device will also be made available at the same time, however looking at the specifications we can expect the price to be around Rs 17,000 onwards.
