Lenovo has launched a new Windows tablet hybrid device in India, called IdeaPad Lynx K3011, for Rs 51,990. The Windows 8 operating system based tablet comes with a detachable keyboard and an 11.6-inch 10-point multi touch IPS display with 1366×768 pixel Resolution and 400 nits brightness.
Lenovo Lynx comes with a 1.8 GHz dual-core Intel Atom CloverTrail CPU along with 2 GB RAM. It also has eMMC storage, two USB 2.0 ports, a micro SD card slot, and a micro HDMI port. The hybrid also has a 2 Megapixel front facing camera.
IdeaPad Lynx K3011’s battery provides 8 hours of operational life but with the dock, its operational life extends to 16 hours thanks to the battery of the dock.
There are many Windows 8 based hybrid tablets in the market but most of them are very expensive like the Dell XPS 12 which is available for more than Rs 1 lakh. Even Lenovo Ideapad Yoga is priced very high. In that sense Lynx is a more affordable product.
