Lenovo has today announced the launch of its latest slim and lightweight laptops, the IdeaPad 530S and IdeaPad 330S. The IdeaPad 530S comes at a starting price of Rs 52,999, while the IdeaPad 330S price starts at Rs 35,999. Both the laptops will be available across retail stores and online platforms in the country.
The major takeaway here is the sleek design and aluminium finish, which gives a premium look. Both the laptops also feature 50 per cent thinner bezels as compared to its predecessors. The IdeaPad 330S will be available in 15-inch and 14-inch models, while the IdeaPad 530S will be available in the 14-inch model. Both the devices also feature fingerprint sensor with support for Windows Hello.
IdeaPad 530S
Starting with the IdeaPad 530S, the laptop weighs 1.49 kg and is just 16.4mm thin, making it one of the lightest and thinnest laptops in this price range. The laptop comes with a 14-inch Full HD IPS display and it is powered by up to 8th generation Intel Core i7 Processor along with NVIDIA MX 150 GPU. There is also an option of AMD processors up to AMD Ryzen 7 (for the 14-inch model only). The laptop is backed by Rapid Charge technology, which the brand claims can give 2 hours of battery backup with 15 minutes of charge.
The device is backed by up to 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of SSD storage. The device can deliver up to 8 hours of battery backup and runs on Windows 10. It also features a fingerprint sensor with Windows Hello support. On the connectivity front, you get USB Type-C 3.1, 2 USB 3.0, HDMI, 4-in-1 card reader, Audio Jack and WiFi. The device measures 323.4 mm x 226 mm x 16.4 mm and it will be available in Onyx Black, Copper, Liquid Blue and Mineral Grey colour options.
IdeaPad 330S
Coming to the IdeaPad 330S, the laptop will be available in two different sizes, 15-inch and 14-inch models and it supports up to Full HD IPS display resolution. Just like IdeaPad 530S, it is also powered by up to 8th generation Intel Core i7 processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card. The device is backed by up to 4GB of onboard DDR4 + 8GB SODIMM memory and up to 2TB SATA HDD storage option.
The laptop also features up to 7 hours of battery backup along with Rapid Charge technology. On the connectivity front, you get USB Type-C 3.1, 2 USB 3.0, HDMI, 4-in-1 card reader, audio jack, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1. The laptop will be available in Platinum Grey, Blizzard White, Midnight Blue, Iron Grey and Rose Pink colour options.
