Lenovo has announced new enterprise products in India including the ThinkCentre M90n, ThinkCentre M90n-1 Nano IoT, ThinkPad T490, ThinkPad P43s, ThinkPad P1 (Gen 2), ThinkSmart Hub 500, ThinkShield and ThinkPad PrivacyGuard.
Lenovo has expanded its enterprise PC portfolio with the launch of the new ThinkPad laptops and ThinkCentre desktops along with new Enterprise Security solutions. The new range of products includes ThinkCentre M90n, ThinkCentre M90n-1 Nano IoT, ThinkPad T490, ThinkPad P43s, ThinkPad P1 (Gen 2), ThinkSmart Hub 500, ThinkShield and ThinkPad PrivacyGuard.
The ThinkCentre M90n is a commercial desktop with up to 30 percent energy savings compared to traditional desktops. The systems are ideal for deployment in dense call centres and enterprises with limited space. The ThinkCentre device can be configured to equip a USB Type-C monitor or Type-C dock with rich I/O possibilities.
ThinkCentre M90n-1 Nano IoT
The ThinkCentre M90n-1 Nano IoT is designed to offer processing and security for IoT devices and features a fan-less operation with a thermal range of 0-50 degree Celsius. The Nano IoT offers a faster response and improved reliability through rapid relay between IoT devices, sensors and peripherals. The system can be used for smart office surveillance, warehousing automation and smarter retail using computer vision.
The ThinkPad T490 is a laptop powered by the 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor and Nvidia graphics. The laptop weighs at 1.46kg and has a thickness of 17.9mm and offers a WQHD/FHD Dolby Vision Display with 500nits or 400nits brightness. The device comes with Dolby Audio Premium, two up-firing speakers and two far-field microphones.
The ThinkPad P43s portable workstation features a WQHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, 500nits brightness, Dolby Vision HDR support and 100 percent Adobe colour gamut. The device can be configured to support up to 2GB DDR5 NVIDIA Quadro P520 graphics.
The new ThinkPad P1 2nd generation is powered by Intel Xeon processors and 4GB NVIDIA Quadro P1000 discrete graphics. The system offers support for Client AI with scaling infrastructure and is ideal for businesses starting to rely on AI.
ThinkSmart Hub 500
ThinkSmart Hub 500 offers single click meetings without connection and sharing hassles. The all-in-one purpose devices reduce clutter and consolidate audio and video conferencing, VOIP and PSTN phones into a single unit.
ThinkShield security solutions
ThinkShield is built to protect businesses and provide better security across all Lenovo enterprise devices, data centres and emerging solutions. It’s a customisable suite of security-related services, software and hardware capabilities with Self-healing BIOS and ThinkShield engine.
New ThinkPad laptops will equip the Lenovo ThinkPad PrivacyGuard which warns users if anyone is looking at their screen, and if so, it will automatically turn on Privacy Guard to protect users from prying eyes. ThinkPad PrivacyGuard will dim the display with the touch of a button and prevent someone from trying to view the laptop from the sides. The Privacy Alert feature will use the laptop’s IR camera to sound an alert if someone is looking over a user’s shoulder.
