Lava today formally announced the launch of X80, a day after the tablet was found listed by TMI. Priced at Rs 9,999, the Lava X80 will be available across all the national retail stores and multi-brand outlets in white and black color variants.
Lava X80 has an 8-inch HD (1280×800 pixels) IPS display and is armed with a 1.83 GHz quad-core processor. The tablet has 1GB of RAM and Intel HD Graphic(Gen7) graphics processor. The tablet however, runs on an older Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.
The Lava X80 comes with 16GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up-to 32GB via a micro SD card. The Lava X80 has a 5-megapixel with auto-focus rear camera and a 3.2-megapixel front camera. The tablet gets power from a 4200 mAh battery.
On the connectivity front, the Lava X80 offers Single SIM slot, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and G sensor. The tablet measures 215.5 X 125 X 9 mm and weighs 320 grams.
