Jabra has announced the launch of the Jabra Elite Active 45e wireless earbuds in India which was first announced at CES 2019. The new wireless earbuds will start selling in India for an asking price of Rs 6,499 on Amazon, Croma stores and Jabra authorised resellers across the country. This Jabra’s second launch in a month having introduced the Evolve 65e soft neckband earbuds in April.
The Jabra Elite Active 45e has an ear hook design which offers long-term wearing comfort as well as waterproof durability through an IP67 rating. Jabra is also providing its users with a 2-year sweat and dust warranty.
The Elite Active 45e comes loaded with support for voice commands which means users can trigger Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri on their phones to make appointments, find nearby events or have your messages read to them. In order to support voice activation, the earbuds feature two MEMS microphones with effective noise reduction when making calls.
The Jabra wireless earbuds are equipped with 12mm speakers which pack in a frequency range of 20 Hz-14 KHz. It allows users to connect to the Jabra Sound+ app for customising music profiles, choose your voice assistant, track battery use and more. It comes with Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity and thus offers a range of 10 metres with pairing to up to 8 devices.
Jabra’s Elite Active 45e can last to up to 9 hours on a single charge and can be charged back to full in 120 minutes. The device is packed with quick charge technology which allows the device to be used for 1 hour with 15 minutes of charge. The earbuds are enabled with Auto-off feature which switches of the earphones after 15 minutes of no connection and 60 minutes of inactivity.
The Jabra Elite Active 45e wireless earbuds can be purchased in Black, Navy and Mint colours for a price of Rs 6,499 on Amazon, Croma stores and Jabra authorised resellers across India. The earphones weigh in at 29 grams and measure at 390 x 300 x 211mm when carried inside a case.
