Vivo sub-brand iQOO has launched the iQOO Neo 855 smartphone in China with Snapdragon 845 Chipset and faster UFS 3.0 storage. The new phone is an upgraded version of the iQOO Neo which was launched in July this year with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and UFS 2.1 storage.
The iQOO Neo 855 comes in four variants – 6GB RAM + 64GB priced at 1998 Yuan, 6GB RAM + 128GB priced at 2298 Yuan, 8GB RAM + 128GB priced at 2498 Yuan and 8GB RAM + 256GB which is priced at 2698 Yuan. It comes in Icelandic Aurora, Neon Purple and Carbon Black colours.
Vivo iQOO Neo features a 6.38-inch FHD+ AMOLED Display with 2340×1080-pixels resolution, 90 percent screen-to-body ratio and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC coupled with Adreno 640 GPU and comes with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.0 high-speed flash memory. Only the 6GB+64GB base model ships with UFS 2.1 storage.
For the camera, the phone equips a triple camera setup with a combination of a 12MP Sony IMX363 primary rear camera with f/1.79, an 8MP 120° f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. On the front, the phone features a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. It features an in-display fingerprint scanner and there is support for face unlock too.
Software-wise, the iQOO Neo 855 runs FunTouch OS 9 based on Android Pie. It is backed up by a 4,500mAh battery supporting 33W FlashCharge 2.0 which charges the phone up to 25% in just 10 minutes. The connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, A-GPS with GLONASS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The phone comes with super cooling technology for better heat management to reduce the CPU’s temperature by up to 10 degrees and the surface temperature by up to 3 degrees. It has Vivo MultiTurbo 2.0 technology with multiple modes on board including AI Turbo, Center Turbo, Net turbo, Cooling Turbo, and Game Turbo.
