Infocus Turbo 5 Plus teased with dual-camera setup and fingerprint sensor

Infocus Turbo 5 Plus seems to be the successor of the InFocus Turbo 5 which was launched in India in June this year starting at Rs 6,999.

Infocus is all set to launch a new smartphone named as Infocus Turbo 5 Plus in India soon. As per the media invitation sent by the company, Infocus will be launching a new smartphone in India on September 13 but it has not mentioned the name of the device. But since the company has been teasing the Turbo 5 Plus smartphone on its social media platforms including Twitter and Facebook for the past few days, it is expected that the Turbo 5 Plus will be the one to be launched on September 13 in India.

Now ahead of the launch, the latest teaser shared by Infocus reveals that the Infocus Turbo 5 Plus will feature a dual camera setup at the back. The two cameras are placed horizontally at the back along with a dual LED flash. Another teaser shows that the smartphone will be featuring a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button in the front. The is a power and volume rockers button on the right side of the device. An earlier teaser revealed that the Turbo 5 Plus will come with 4850 battery with a caption “More Power More Performance”. Apart from these features, nothing much is known about this upcoming handset. But it is likely to be priced very competitively considering the company’s focus on the budget segment.

Infocus Turbo 5 Plus seems to be the successor of the InFocus Turbo 5 which was launched in India in June this year starting at Rs 6,999. InFocus Turbo 5 comes in two variants – 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM priced at Rs 6,999 and Rs 7,999 respectively. As far as specifications of InFocus Turbo 5 are concerned, it offers a unibody metal design and a 5.2-inch (1280 x 720) IPS display, a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor with Mali T720 GPU, along with 2GB/3GB of RAM. The hybrid dual SIM based smartphone comes pre-installed with 7.0 Nougat operating system. The device is backed up by a huge 5000 mAh battery which claims to offer up to 23 hours of talk time and up to 816 hours of along with support to charge other phones using OTG. It also comes with a fingerprint sensor located on the back of the device.

The InFocus Turbo 5 comes with 16GB/32GB of internal storage, and expandable storage up to 32GB via micro card. The smartphone has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, the smartphone offers a 5-megapixel front camera. For connectivity, the device offers with VoLTE, 4.0, GPS/ AGPS, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, FM radio, 2.0, Accelerometer, Ambient Light sensor, E-Compass, and Proximity sensor. The device measures 150 x 74 x 9.0 and weighs 163 grammes.
