InFocus has started teasing about a new smartphone launch on its social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter. The smartphone is named as Infocus Turbo 5 Plus and is said to come with powerful features. Infocus Turbo 5 Plus seems to be the successor of the InFocus Turbo 5 which was launched in India in June this year starting at Rs 6,999. The company has however also sent us the media invite for its new smartphone launch on September 13 but did not mention the name of the device. Keeping in mind, that the company has now started teasing the launch of Turbo 5 Plus, we expect the Turbo 5 Plus to launch on September 13 in India.

However, nothing much is known about this upcoming handset. But it is likely to be priced very competitively considering the company’s focus on the budget segment.
InFocus Turbo 5 comes in two variants – 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM priced at Rs 6,999 and Rs 7,999 respectively. As far as specifications of InFocus Turbo 5 are concerned, it offers a unibody metal design and a 5.2-inch (1280 x 720) HD IPS display, a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor with Mali T720 GPU, along with 2GB/3GB of RAM. The hybrid dual SIM based smartphone comes pre-installed with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. The device is backed up by a huge 5000 mAh battery which claims to offer up to 23 hours of talk time and up to 816 hours of Standby time along with support to charge other phones using OTG. It also comes with a fingerprint sensor located on the back of the device.
The InFocus Turbo 5 comes with 16GB/32GB of internal storage, and expandable storage up to 32GB via micro SD card. The smartphone has a 13-megapixel Autofocus rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, the smartphone offers a 5-megapixel front camera. For connectivity, the device offers 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ AGPS, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, FM radio, microUSB 2.0, Accelerometer, Ambient Light sensor, E-Compass, and Proximity sensor. The device measures 150 x 74 x 9.0 and weighs 163 grammes.
