Infinix is all set to launch its new smartphone named as Infinix Smart 3 Plus in India tomorrow. Now ahead of the launch the company has slashed the price of Infinix Smart 2 smartphone by Rs 1,000. The smartphone comes in four colour options – Sandstone black, Brush Gold, City Blue and Bordeaux Red.
Infinix Smart 2 was launched last year in two variants – 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage at Rs 5,999 and Rs 6,999 respectively. Now after a price cut of Rs 1,000, the Infinix Smart 2 2GB variant retails at Rs 4,999 on Flipkart. Notably, the 3GB variant has not received any price cut and it still retails at Rs 6,999 on Flipkart.
Infinix Smart 2 has a 5.45-inch HD+ Full View with a screen resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. A 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek 6739 processor powers the device. The device features face unlocking technology but it lacks a fingerprint sensor. The company claims face unlock does the job in 0.3 seconds. In both, the variants memory can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
For the camera department, the Smart 2 is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with f2.0 Aperture with Dual LED Flash and 8-megapixel front camera with Dual LED Flash and Bokeh mode. The Infinix Smart 2 features connectivity options like dual sim, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, micro USB and GPS + GLONASS. A non-removable 3050mAh fuels the smartphone and it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with company’s own XOS v3.3.0 operating system.
