Idea expands 4G services in Haryana covering all 21 districts

The telecom operator expanded 4G services in towns including Bhiwani, Fatehabad, Jind, Palwal, Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar, Dharuhera, Pinjore, Sohna etc.

Idea Cellular today expanded its services to 120 towns of the 133 towns of 21 districts of Haryana. With this, Idea became the first operator to launch 4G services in towns including Bhiwani, Fatehabad, Jind, Palwal, Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar, Dharuhera, Pinjore, Sohna etc.

Earlier this year, the telecom operator launched its 4G services in major towns of Haryana such as Ambala, Karnal, Hissar, Panipat, Rewari, Rohtak and Sonipat.

Rakesh Setia, circle head – Haryana, Idea Cellular said, “Customers across Haryana are increasingly adopting mobile internet services and Idea has taken the lead in extending the power of high-speed 4G LTE services. Our focus of building a robust telecom infrastructure and providing superior internet coverage across the length and breadth of the state has enabled us to become the largest 4G service provider in Haryana telecom service area.”

Already a strong player in 2G/3G market and an emerging player in 4G services, Idea has focused more on investing spectrum, expanding network and improving customer service especially in Haryana. Currently, it is the leasing 2G, and 4G service provider in Haryana with a customer base of 49.4 lakh.
