With Bluetooth 5.1, the Huawei Watch GT 2 is compatible with Android 4.4 and above and iO S9.0 and above devices.
Along with the launch of Huawei Mate 30 series of smartphones, the company has also launched Watch GT2 which is the successor to Huawei Watch GT. The smartwatch comes in two sizes - 42mm and 46mm.
The Huawei Watch GT 2 46mm is priced at €249 ( Rs 19,620 approx.) and the 42mm variant is priced at €229 (Rs 18,051 approx.). Apart from this, the company also unveiled the FreeBuds 3 truly wireless earbuds. The earbuds are priced at EUR 179 (approx. Rs 14,000).
The 42mm version features a 1.2-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 390 x 390 pixels and the 46mm version features a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels. Both the versions are powered by the Kirin A1 chip.
With Bluetooth 5.1, the watch is compatible with Android 4.4 and above and iO S9.0 and above devices. It comes with 5ATM certification, which means it is waterproof up to a depth of 50 meters. It packs 445mAh battery with up to 14 days of battery life and runs on HUAWEI’s homegrown LiteOS.
The watch comes with Heart rate tracking with TruSeen 3.5, sleep monitoring, HUAWEI TruRelax, and all-day activity tracking. Sensors on board include Accelerometer sensor, Gyroscope sensor, Geomagnetic sensor, Optical heart rate sensor, Ambient light sensor, Air pressure sensor, and Capacitive sensor. There are 13 running courses and 15 workout modes including running, hiking, walking, cycling, and swimming, and more.
The dimensions of 46mm smartwatch are 45.9 x 45.9 x 10.7 mm and its weight is 41 grams. The dimensions of 42mm are 41.8 x 41.8x 9.4 mm and its weight is 29 grams.
The Huawei FreeBuds 3 are powered by Kirin A1 chipset. The earbuds are said to be the first to feature dual-mode Bluetooth 5.1. It comes with Isochronous Dual Channel transmission technology that provides stable wireless connectivity. It features bone conduction technology and there is a bone voice sensor that picks up audio signals more effectively.
For audio, it comes armed with a 14mm dynamic driver along with a dedicated tube to deliver extra bass output. In terms of battery, the earbuds last up to 4 hours of music playback on a single charge. The puck-shaped charging case delivers 20 hours of extra battery life.
