Huawei’s Honor brand launched Honor 8C in India last year in two variants – 4GB RAM with 32GB storage and the 4GB RAM with 64GB storagepriced at Rs 11,999 and Rs 12,999 respectively. The phone 4GB, 64GB variant has now received a price cut on Amazon.
This variant is now retailing at Rs 9,999 on Amazon after a price cut of Rs 3,000 in Black and Blue colour options. In July this year, the 4GB RAM with 32GB storage also received a price cut after which its price was dropped to Rs 8,999. However, this time, there is no change in the price of 4GB, 32GB variant and it is listed at same Rs 8,999 on Amazon.
Honor 8C is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC, coupled with an Adreno 506 GPU. It features a 6.26-inch HD+ notched display with a 1520 x 720 pixel resolution offering an aspect ratio of 19:9 and screen-to-body ratio of 80.4 percent. The phone has4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of onboard storage options that both are expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. It is fueled by 4,000mAh battery with support for 5V/2A charger.
The smartphone comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup of a 13-megapixel sensor along with an f/1.8 aperture, LED flash and a 2-megapixel sensor along with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel sensor along with an f/2.0 aperture, LED flash and support for AI face unlock.
The Honor 8C features a rear fingerprint scanner and it runs Android 8.1 Oreo OS with EMUI 8.2 on top. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM support, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS +GLONASS. It measures 158.72 x 75.94 x 7.98mm and weighs 167.2 grams.
