Hero Electronix unveils Qubo range of AI Connected Smart Devices in India, starts at Rs 3,000

The Qubo Smart Indoor Camera will be available in India for a price of Rs 13,490. The Qubo Smart Gas Sensor, Smart Smoke Sensor, and the Smart Door & Window Sensor are all priced at Rs 3,000 each.

Hero Electronix has announced that the launch of a new range of connected smart devices – Qubo. The new products included in the lineup are the Qubo Smart Indoor Camera, Qubo Smart Gas Sensor, Qubo Smart Smoke Sensor and Qubo Smart Door & Window Sensor.

The Qubo Smart Indoor Camera will be available in India for a price of Rs 13,490. The Qubo Smart Gas Sensor, Smart Smoke Sensor, and the Smart Door & Window Sensor are all priced at Rs 3,000 each. All four products can be purchased from September 27 across e-commerce sites and retail stores in the country.

Qubo Smart Indoor Camera

The new Qubo Smart Indoor Camera features a 1080p Full Camera with 140-degree Field of View, night vision and 2-way audio. The indoor camera is powered by a Qualcomm that offers tamper resistance and protection against malware. It offers person detection and face recognition through AI and can provide users with alerts when their baby is crying.

The device comes with Amazon Alexa built-in and can be controlled by voice. Users can access news, music, weather, and reminders with simple voice commands. The Qubo camera can also be used as a smart home hub to control and remotely manage various smart devices at home through Alexa.

Qubo Smart Smoke Sensor

As for the Qubo Smart Smoke Sensor, the device lets users instantly when there’s smoke detected at home. The Qubo Smart Gas Sensor notifies users if there’s gas leakage. The Gas Sensor can detect leakage from CNG and LPG gas cylinders. Qubo Smart Door & Window Sensor alerts users instantly whenever a door or a window is opened.

Speaking about the launch, Hero Electronix Founder Director Ujjwal Munjal said “We have invested close to INR 350Cr in Hero Electronix and we foresee an investment of ~INR 150-200 Cr over the next couple of years”. Hero Electronix CEO, Nikhil Rajpal said “There is a major revolution coming where AI-powered connected devices can solve major real-world problems pertaining to security, connectivity, entertainment & healthcare.”
