Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 owners can get a free Bluetooth headset free from Samsung.

If you have purchased or planning to purchase the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, then here is a good news for you. The Korean company is now offering a Bluetooth headset with the tablet; even the existing owners can get one.

The offer is valid for both purchases made from Samsung web store or retail store and even from Samsung’s online and retail parents. Anyone who has purchased a Galaxy Tab 2 3100 between June 10 and July 10 is eligible for this offer.

To avail the free Bluetooth headset, you have to first log on to the special offer page of Samsung and they enter the IMEI number of the device along with your name and email address. Samsung will then match the details and if everything goes right, you will be then prompted to enter the address details for avail the offer. Following further investigation and verification the buyers will get an email form Samsung with the shipment details of their free Bluetooth headset.

To get the IMEI number users can simply look for the number at the back of the Galaxy Tab 2 3100 or can also type {*#06#} on the device’s onscreen keypad to get the number.

New Galaxy Tab 2 3100 features a 7-inch touchscreen PLS display that supports WSVGA (1024×600) pixel resolution. At the back rests a 3 megapixel fixed focus camera which may not give pleasing results and a VGA camera in the front video call. Under the 10.5mm slim form factor, the tablet houses 1 GHz dual core mobile processor coupled with 1 GB RAM. It offers internal storage space 16 GB.

For instant messaging, the Samsung ChatON service client will come pre-loaded. This tablet will also come with Samsung Hubs – Reader, Video, Music and Game to get the relevant content. Samsung AllShare Play media streaming feature is also available on this tablet.
