Hathway Cable and Datacom is reportedly offering complimentary Play Box Android TV streaming device with its long term subscription plans in the country.
The company is currently rolling the offer in Chennai and it is valid for users who opt for 100 Mbps plans or above for two months or more, reports TelecomTalk. The report further highlights that the offer will be available in other cities like Hyderabad. Currently, the company is offering four Broadband plans in Chennai that comes with 100Mbps to 300Mbps speeds. The plans come with a starting price of Rs 949 per month.
Therefore, in order to avail this offer, customers need to buy a minimum plan of Rs 2,847 for three months that comes loaded with 100Mbps speed along with 1TB of FUP limit per month. One can also opt for higher plans in order to get the Play Box Android TV device.
The Hathway Play Box comes with a price tag of Rs 2,999. The new set-top box comes with built-in Chromecast support and one can mirror content from their Android, iOS, Mac and Windows to their TV. The device comes with a dedicated Netflix, YouTube and Google Play buttons on the remote control. Further, one can enjoy both regional as well as international content on their TV with a single click with Play Box. Users can also use Google Assistant on the Play Box and can ask the Assistant to do various things as well.
