The conference will stress on means to improve visibility for Indian language-based web pages through Google Search, ways to make sites more mobile friendly, analyze and learn how the search engine works and what are the guidelines for the same.
Google has revealed that it will conduct Google Search Conferences across 11 cities in India between June and August. The move comes to promote Indian language writers, artists and publishers gain ample followers and thus bring them closer to English based content demand online. With an ever-growing readership for content in regional languages, Google’s sole purpose is to bridge the gap between high-level content and regional language-based articles.
In addition to English, Google’s Search Conference will cover Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, and Bengali. The search giant will be hosting its conference across 11 Indian cities, the first of them scheduled on June 20th at Gurgaon. One-day conferences on all these cities will bring to notice how Google search works, what guidelines need to be followed to improve quality, how publishers can gain more followers and better their visibility across search engines and what can be best used for a mobile-friendly experience.
The company will be hosting several conferences through July and August, the last of which will be held in Bengaluru as a women-only event on August 3. The Mountain View giant will also host a session on Google AdSense to brief users on their new policies and the prevent mistakes from happening when running AdSense on a website.
