Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL flagship smartphones were launched in India earlier this month for Rs 39,999 and Rs 44,999 respectively. Both the smartphones were exclusively available for purchase via Flipkart. Now, Mumbai-based offline retailer, Mahesh Telecom, has confirmed that Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL smartphones are now available for purchase through offline channels as well.
As far as specifications are concerned, Google Pixel 3a XL comes with 6-inch Full HD+ (2,160 x 1080 pixels) OLED display, while the Pixel 3a features a 5.6-inch Full HD+ display. Both the smartphones have Always-On mode along with 100,000:1 contrast ratio and white point D67. The phones come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL come equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 SoC with Adreno 615 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The Pixel 3a gets its juices from a 3000mAh battery, while the Pixel 3a XL carries a 3700mAh battery. Both the models come loaded with USB Type C port and support 18W fast charging.
The Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL both have a single 12.2-megapixel rear sensor with 1.4-micron pixel size, autofocus with dual pixel phase detection, optical and electronic image stabilization, f/1.8 aperture and LED flash. On the front, it offers an 8-megapixel selfie snapper with 1.12-micron pixel size, f/2.0 aperture and 84-degree viewing angle.
Just for heads up, Google Pixel 3a users were reportedly facing some performance issues while running Digital Wellbeing app. This app is supposed to allow users to keep track of the time spent on different apps, notifications received and how many times the user unlocks the lock screen. But users complained of delay and lag when the app is running in the background. After complaints from users, Google provided the step by step procedure to disable the feature.
Just a couple of days back, few Pixel 3a, Pixel 3a XL users reported random shutdowns. As per users, the smartphone gets shut down automatically during the nights when the phone is generally inactive and even during the daytime as well when the device is sitting idle.
