Google Maps now available on mobile browser

Now Android and iPhone users can access Google maps through their device's browser, without having the need to install the application itself.

Google has launched its maps service for Android and iOS devices which can be accessed even without installing the application.

Google Maps is by far one of the most used maps and location services used across the world as it is available free of cost across various platforms.

Users of Android and iOS devices can now simply access the Google Maps from their mobile browsers just the way they access Google Maps on their computers and notebooks. With this, user will get more functionality and results with lesser amounts of efforts.

A simple area search in the Google search will help them in location search as well. So while searching for a restaurant nearby, along with the address and the contact details, users now can also get the direction to travel to that place with turn by turn directions.

The Mobile browser version of the Google Maps has all the features that come in its application version. The idea behind providing Google Maps through the mobile browser is that it allows faster upgradation and can be linked to several others services like the Google search and places, further improving user experience.

It can be accessed directly by simply visiting www.google.com from the smartphone’s browser.
