Searching for information on Google will now be more interesting as the company has extended Instant Preview to both iOS and Android devices. The announcement was made by Google through a blog post.
A magnifying glass icon appears on top of the search page. Once users tap on it, they enter the instant preview mode where they are allowed to swipe through results.
To visit a website, just tap on any of the previews. If the site has a separate mobile version, Google will automatically provide the instant preview of that version.
The feature will help users evaluate search results better and go to the intended site fast, says Google.
Google Instant Previews will be available in 38 languages, and those who have seen the feature on a desktop will already have a fair idea of what to expect.
