Gionee F106 which was spotted on the Chinese certification website, TENNA in December last year, has been now launched in China at Yuan 999, which is approximately Rs 9,780. The smartphone comes in Black and White colour variants.
The Gionee F106 features a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display with 294 ppi as pixel density. The smartphone is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core Mediatek MT 6737 processor, along with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable upto 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
The Gionee F106 gets its strength from 2660 mAh Polymer lithium-ion battery. On the camera front, it has 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, a microUSB port, 3.5 mm heaphone connector, Light sensor, Gravity sensor, Electronic compass, Proximity, and Compass. The device measures 144 x 70.8 x 8.4 mm and weighs 150.2 grams.
Meanwhile, Gionee’s another smartphone named as Gionee F5 was also launched today in China at Yuan 1799, which is approximately Rs 17,613. The Gionee F5 features a 5.3-inch HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display with resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor. The smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 4000mAH battery.
On the camera front, the Gionee F5 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. The camera features include Digital zoom, Auto focus, Panorama, HDR, Delay photography, Slow motion photography, and Business card scanning. Besides, the smartphone offers, Dual nano SIM card, 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, a microUSB port, GPS, Gravity sensors, distance sensors, and light sensors. The handset measures 150 x74.5 x 7.7 mm and weighs 162 grams.
