Garmin, after launching Forerunner 245 and 245 Music, has announced the launch of Garmin 945 smartwatch in India. The smartwatch comes with a price tag of Rs 59,990 and it is available for purchase from Amazon, Myntra, and Paytm Mall. For offline market, the smartwatch is available for purchase from Helios Watch Stores by Titan across the country.
The smartwatch was earlier introduced globally along with Forerunner 45, Forerunner 45S, Forerunner 245 and Forerunner 245 Music. The new smartwatch from Garmin comes loaded with a host of features. To start with, it can store up to 1000 songs and one can sync his/her favourite music from popular streaming services like Spotify. One can also transfer music from a PC or laptop as well.
The smartwatch is equipped with VO2 max and training status which allows users to track heat, altitude acclimation status, training load focus, recovery time, and aerobic and anaerobic training effects. The watch features built-in mapping and it is loaded with full-color maps, which is optimized for at-a-glance navigation and location tracking.
The Forerunner 945 is equipped with wrist-based heart rate sensor and a Pulse Ox sensor that helps in measuring and monitoring blood oxygen saturation levels. The smartwatch is equipped with Body Battery feature.
It also includes multiple sport activity modes like run plus treadmill, indoor track, bike, indoor bike, treadmill, pool swim, row indoor, elliptical, stair stepper and more. The company claims that it can deliver up to 2 weeks of battery backup in smartwatch mode, up to 10 hours in GPS mode with music, up to 40 hours in GPS mode, and up to 60 hours in Ultratrac mode.
