Fujitsu releases Android tablet

Fujitsu Stylistic m350 is a 7 inch Android 2.3 based tablet, mainly targeted at mobile workforce in the enterprises. Might come to India as well.

Fujitsu has just released a new 7 inch display based tablet. Named as Stylistic M350/CA2, the tablet comes with Android 2.3 operating system with a 7-inch WSVGA (1024 x 600 pixel) display and weighs approximately 420g only.

The Fujitsu Stylistic tab has rapid booting feature and has the ability to select between different character input modes – a numeric keypad, Qwerty, and hand-writing.

The Japanese company plans to market the tablet as a mobile sales terminal, a handset for displaying digital catalogs at a retail store, and as an e-book reader in a classroom setting.

According to company, the Stylistic has a running time of approximately 6.1 hours. The tablet runs on a Cortex A8 1GHz processor, with 512 RAM and supports up to 16 micro card.

Apart from that the Fujitsu Stylistic has G-sensor, light sensor, 2.1, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, GPS, single USB port, 2.0 and mini-HDMI-out.

The tablet sells in Hong Kong for approximately Rs 19,000. While no plans for India has been announced, the tablet is likely to be sold in India as well. Since it is an enterprise centric product, Fujitsu may present it in the enterprise segment in India as well.
