First application from Nokia comes to Windows Phone

The Nokia Microsoft partnership has opened newer avenues of benefit for both the companies. Their latest venture is Nokia's Top Apps on Windows Marketplace.

Following the recent launch of Microsoft Office applications for Symbian powered devices, now Nokia has also announced an entry into the Windows Phone application domain with the addition of its first Windows Phone based application – Top Apps.

Top Apps, as the name suggests, is an aggregator application for Windows Phone powered devices. This application keeps on the lookout for the best applications available on the Windows Marketplace and if there are updates available, this application will inform users about them on the home screen itself.

All the content made available through this application is based on the latest and the hottest on Windows Marketplace. Besides, the applications and their updates are selected on the basis of location and that too on a regular basis to make sure the content is delivered timely.

Although the application has been announced and has been featured on the Windows Application Store through Zune, the is not readily available to download on Windows Phone devices. But since the application is already featured on the Windows Marketplace, it is certain that the application will be made live soon.

To access further information related to the application users can access this link and also stay tuned for updates.
