Older devices with atleast an 800 Mhz processor and 512 MB of RAM can operate this new browser.

Firefox has released the latest version of its mobile for the devices, which not only makes browsing on mobiles faster but it brings loads of optimisations for Android smartphones too. For instance, the browser now brings in support for devices running Android Jelly bean 4.2 with hardware and software audio and video decoding for faster video playback and streaming.

But the newer operating system versions are not the ones that the developers are targeting as the new browser also brings in support for older devices that run on older ARM v6 with minimum of 800 clock speed along with minimum 512 MB of RAM.
