Sony Ericsson is planning to roll out an update of Facebook Inside Xperia feature for most new Xperia devices including the Xperia Play and the Xperia Arc. The new Facebook Inside Xperia version 2.0 will integrate Facebook with Xperia devices at the user interface level for better and easier access.
The update will be rolled out along with the Gingerbread 2.3.4 upgrade this month which was announced by Sony Ericsson for many countries including India except a few Nordic countries where the update was rolled out last month.
In the new update, the Facebook Inside Xperia gets a far better integration with the user interface making it easier for the users to access it from any place in the device or while doing several different tasks.
Mainly the Facebook Inside Xperia will now allow users to share pictures, music and even applications from within the phone and without the need of any separate or standalone application. Along with that, music and video recommendation functionality has been added to the version 2 of the Facebook Inside Xperia so that users can simply do a one touch recommendation for music and videos alike.
Last but not the least the Facebook Inside Xperia now has a deeper integration with the media galleries of the device as well so you can simply access any picture or multimedia content and share it on Facebook. Also users will be able to access all the pictures uploaded on Facebook right in their image gallery without having the need to install a stand along application for that.
