Nikon today announced the launch of an entry level DSLR, Nikon D3400, in India. Apart from that the Japanese company also launched AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED and AF-P DX
NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED VR, telephoto zoom lenses compatible with Nikon DX-format digital SLR cameras, for the Indian market. The D3400 and the lenses will be available from last week of September 2016.
Both lenses are 4.3x telephoto zoom lenses covering the 70-300mm range of focal lengths. Despite being a telephoto zoom lens, they are designed to be compact and lightweight, making them particularly portable. An ED lens element has been adopted for suppression of all types of aberration to achieve excellent optical performance.
Nikon D3400 is the first entry-level DSLR enabled with SnapBridge connectivity via a built-in Bluetooth low energy technology.
Commenting on the launch Kazuo Ninomiya, managing director, Nikon India said, “For the always-connected user the D3400 is an excellent introduction to D-SLR photography. It combines best of both worlds and will allow users to innovate with excellent image quality and also enjoy connectivity on the go with their smart devices to upload and with SnapBridge connectivity via a built-in Bluetooth low energy technology, D3400 will allow users to transfer all pictures clicked with the camera to a smart device automatically. Users will no more need to manually pair the devices each time to select and transfer images, thus making on-the- go share possible even with a D-SLR. On the picture quality front, D3400 integrates a DX-format CMOS sensor which will lead to sharper images in spite of low light conditions.”
You can use the camera to capture images in RAW format with up to 16 photos in continuous mode. It is armed with CMOS sensor and ISO sensitivity of 25600. The Nikon D3400 allows capturing videos in full HD at 60 frames per second.
