Dropbox like app launched for Symbian phones

Named as Cutebox, it brings all the functionalities of a native Dropbox application, enabling users to add, delete and move both files and folders.

Symbian users, who are waiting for a native or supporting application of Dropbox, can now heave a sigh of relief. A new application, named Cutebox, has now been released for Symbian S60 ^3 devices which will bring all the functionalities of the Dropbox native application.

Dropbox is a free cloud computing service that can work across devices. By using Dropbox, users can share and store files, documents, pictures, videos songs and any other data across various devices. Along with this, Dropbox also allows users to create and share public libraries with others by invitation or by directly posting links of popular websites like Facebook and Twitter.

The Dropbox service is available in both paid and free versions. The paid version offers a larger storage space along with some exclusive features but the free version also gives all the required functionality with a limited 2GB data storage space, which is more than enough for a casual or a moderate user. Plus users can also get more free space for their accounts by inviting newer users to adopt this service.

Just like Dropbox application on any other platform, Cutebox brings all the functionalities of the native application enabling users to add, delete and move both files and folders.

The Cutebox application at present is only available for Symbian S60 ^3 devices only but the developers are working fast to make this available for other platforms as well. Nokia users can visit the Ovi store and download this application or can also follow this link to download this application.
