The Mobile Indian and TeleAnalysis jointly released Consumer Device Survey 2017 for Indian consumer devices industry. In the laptop segment Acer, Lenovo and Dell was voted as the best companies in the segment.
The nation-wide survey was done taking into account the feedbacks from Indian consumer device users in five zones –east, west, north, south and central – of the country. The sample size was over 1.5 lakh spanning 30 cities.
Starting with Acer, the company has been awarded Device World Leadership Awards 2017 for the ‘Laptop Company of the Year (Budget)’. Acer has been chosen as the laptop company of the year in the budget segment as the brand has a vast portfolio in the budget laptop segment and offers some exceptional performance in almost all the departments.
Lenovo has been awarded Device World Leadership Awards 2017 for the ‘Laptop Company of the Year (Mid-range)’. Lenovo is a well-known brand and the company has a vast variety of products in the laptop segment, especially in the mid-range, with different laptop series like IdeaPad, 2-in-1 and more. The brand believes in providing best-in-class performance at an affordable price range, which makes it a clear winner in this category.
In the premium segment, Dell was one of the most voted companies in our survey. It has been awarded Device World Leadership Awards 2017 for the ‘Laptop Company of the Year (Premium)’. The company, which has a huge lineup of premium laptops, has been chosen Laptop Company of the Year in the Premium laptop segment.
