Dell G7, Alienware Area-51m, Alienware m15 gaming laptops unveiled in India, starts at Rs 1,57,399

The Alienware Area-51m starts at Rs 2,99,590 and is the most expensive of the three while the Alienware m15 starts in India for a price of Rs 1,78,399. The cheapest of the line is the Dell G7 15 which starts at Rs 1,57,399.

Months after introducing the Latitude 7400, XPS 13 and Inspiron 7000 notebooks during CES 2019, Dell has announced the G7, Alienware Area-51m and Alienware m15 gaming laptops in India.

The Alienware Area-51m starts at Rs 2,99,590 and is the most expensive of the three while the Alienware m15 starts in India for a price of Rs 1,78,399. The cheapest of the line is the Dell G7 15 which starts at Rs 1,57,399. All three models will be available from Dell’s web store, Reliance, Croma and multi-brand stores across the country from April 1.

The Alienware Area-51m comes with a new Legend design and Dell calls it the World’s most upgradable laptop since it can be upgraded to any later NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics or Core i9 processors. The machine can be configured with a 9th Gen 8-core desktop processors, 64GB2 of memory, 2.5Gbps Ethernet technology, upgradeable graphics and desktop processors and a 17-inch display with a frame rate of 144Hz and narrow bezels. The laptop comes with an Alienware TactX keyboard which features 2.2mm of travel, anti-ghosting technology, per-key RGB lighting, N-Key rollover technology, a steel backplate for rigidity and AlienFX customizable lighting. The Area-51m also offers Alienware’s Advanced Cryo-Tech 2.0 technology for Thermal control and is available in Lunar Light and Dark Side of the Moon colours.

The Alienware m15 also offers the Cryo-Tech 2.0 technology which will offer cooling options to the 8th generation Intel Core i7 processors. The gaming laptop will also equip NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 & 2070 MQ design graphics cards, AlienFX customizable lighting and Alienware m-series keyboard featuring a 4-zone AlienFX RGB enabled keys. It weighs in at 2.16 kgs and measures 17.9mm on its thickest side offering a lightweight machine as a gaming laptop. The Alienware m15 is available in Epic Silver and Nebula Red colours.

The cheapest of the three is the Dell G7 15 which offers a configuration of up to an 8th Gen Intel Core processors and the powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20 graphics. The laptop comes with a 15-inch anti-glare display with a 144Hz frame rate and a wide viewing angle. The G7 offers Killer Gigabit Ethernet Controller for accurate throughput and lower gameplay and there are Dual drives with SSD options. The device measures at 19.9mm and will be available in Abyss Grey with blue accents.
