Microsoft has annouced a stellar deal for the Xbox users. The Windows maker has announced that its Xbox Live and Netflix-type Xbox Game Pass service can be subscribed for just $1.
However, the condition is that you have to be a first time user and only the first month subscription will be $1. So that means for subsequent months, you will have to pay the regular fee. But still, its a great deal for those who are new to the services.
Xbox Game Pass is a relatively new service. With this $10 a month subscription, users will get access to a library of games consisting of over 100 titles. The library includes some of the top of the line games Halo 5, Fable III, Metal Gear Solid V etc.
However, users will be granted access to the games as long as they have subscribed to the Game Pass services. This means that even if you download the games to your device, you cannot play them if you stop the subscription.
Xbox Live is a different service altogether which allows users to play online with players worldwide.
