Asus Nexus 7 (2012) tablet, which is still being sold officially by Google at Rs 18,999, is now being offered at Rs 13,499 by Flipkart. Earlier, the 16 GB version of the Nexus 7 (2012) also saw a price cut from Rs 15,999 to Rs 11,999. Infact, this time also many deal sites reported that the 16 GB Nexus 7 (2012) has been discounted by Amazon to Rs 9,999 but the deal is not available at the time of writing.
The Nexus 7 (32 GB), as the name suggests itself, has 32 GB of internal storage but it has no expandable storage slot. The tablet comes with Android 4.1 but Google has already rolled out the Android 4.3 Kitkat version for it. Besides, the tablet has 1.2 GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core processor, 7 inch capacitive touchscreen, 1.2 Megapixel primary camera, and 1 GB DDR3 RAM.
It has a huge 4325 mAh Li-Po battery which claims to provide 9 hours of HD video playback. However, it is a WiFi only tablet and its 3G version is still being sold by Flipkart at around Rs 21,900. The Nexus 7 (WiFi, 32 GB) has NFC, Bluetooth, and Micro USB port for connectivity as well.
