Celkon launches Diamond 4G Tab 7, 4G Tab 8 with Android Lollipop

The tablets have the same set of features except different screen sizes and battery.

Celkon has silently launched two calling tablets, namely Diamond Tab 7 and 4G Tab 8. The tablets are found listed on the company’s website without the price tag. However, as per media reports, the Diamond 4G Tab 7 is priced at Rs 5,990.

The new Celkon Diamond 4G Tab 7 tablet has a 7-inch WSVGA (1024×600 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex A53 processor, 1GB and 8GB built in memory. The device has a 32 micro SD card slot. This Lollipop operating system based tablet offers a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel front camera. The tablet gets the power from a 3000 mAh battery.

The Celkon Diamond 4G Tab 7 offers dual SIM, 4G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, 4.0, and micro USB. The tablet measures 12.7 x 48 x 13.7 mm and weighs 70 grams. It has G Sensor.

Celkon 4G Tab 8 has the same set of specifications as that of Diamond 4G Tab 7 except screen size and battery. Celkon 4G Tab has 8 inch (800 x 1280 pixels) WXGA IPS display and 4000 mAh battery.

The Celkon Diamond 4G Tab 7 comes in black and dark blue color options while Celkon 4G Tab 8 comes in golden and grey color options.

Recently Celkon launched CT111 tablet for Rs 2,999. The Celkon CT 111 tablet has a 7 inch touchscreen with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core with unknown RAM and built in memory. The device has a 32 GB micro SD card slot. It has Android KitKat operating system, 2-megapixel auto focus rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera and 2500 mAh battery.
