Expanding its inkjet printers portfolio, Cannon India today announced six new models TS8070, TS5070, G4000, MB5470, MB5170 and iB4070. Canon claims that all these printers come with various technological advancements and offer premium customer experience.
The MAXIFY series include the MB5470, MB5170 and iB4170 prices at Rs 22,495, Rs 16,495 and Rs 9,995 respectively. These three inkjet printers sports features which are ideal for small offices and businesses. Keeping in mind the speed aspect, these printers come with ISO-compliant print speeds up to 24 images per minute for black and white and 15.5 images per minute for colour. Further, maximising the speed settings one can get results up to 32.5 pages per minute (ppm) in black-and-white, and 26.5ppm in colour.
Supporting the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) these printers can be managed and monitored via popular fleet management applications such as Canon’s imageWARE Enterprise Management Console (iWEMC) and PrintFleet.
PIXMA TS Series
The PIXMA TS8070 and TS5070 come in at a price of Rs 17,995 and Rs 9,995 respectively and are probably the most popular of them all with their high productivity and direct printing features as well as a compact design with stylish appearance.
PIXMA TS8070 is equipped with 6-colour hybrid ink system which helps deliver high-quality photos and documents. On top of this, it also supports two new paper sizes 5â€ x 5â€(12.7cmx12.7cm) (square) photo paper and standard business card sizes for easy creation of business cards for small businesses. It comes with 4.3″ (10.8cm) colour touchscreen LCD panel which comes with Intelligent Touch System. It also sports a fully automated operation panel and paper output tray with manual tilt adjustment as well. The TS8070 also offers options such as two-sided printing, printing from memory card and option to print directly on printable CD and DVD surfaces.
Both TS8070 and TS5070 supports NFC and Wireless Direct Protocol connectivity options ensuring easy communication from a PC or a Mobile device. NFC-enabled Android OS devices can even print by simply tapping the devices on the operation panel.
Lastly, the PIXMA G4000 ink tank printer comes in with whole new set of features. Coming in at Rs 16,995, the G4000 offers high volume printing, copying and faxing at extremely low running costs. It also has an integrated Automatic Document Feeder which can feed up to 20-sheets of document originals for making copies of a multiple page document stack.
The Document Removal Reminder function reminds user to remove the forgotten document lying on the scanner glass by displaying a message on LCD screen. It also comes with this new ID Card COpy feature which can scan and copy both sides of an ID card easily while retaining the original ID card size. For both office and home use, large ink bottles can give results up to 6,000 pages of black and white documents, and 7,000 pages of colour documents.
The G4000 also comes with easy wireless connectivity and Mobile printing for both Apple and Android OS.
