BSNL Rs 525 postpaid plan revised with 80GB data, carry forward feature and unlimited voice calls

The data carry forward functionality allows users to carry forward unused data to the next billing cycle. BSNL has limited to carry forward the data to up to 200GB.

State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has reportedly revised its of Rs 525. The plan now comes with more data benefit with the carry forward functionality.

Telecom Talk reports that the revised plan has been introduced only for Kolkata users at the moment. The plan provides a user 80GB of 2G/3G data along with data carry forward option of up to 200GB. The report further says that BSNL is testing this plan in only one circle, and soon it will be launched on a pan-India basis.

In the Rs 525 plan, users get unlimited voice calls to any network within India and this time the calls will not be charged to numbers in Mumbai and Delhi circles. Further, the plan offers 100 per day. If a user wants to send an international SMS, the customer will be charges Rs 5 per SMS.

The data carry forward functionality allows users to carry forward unused data to the next billing cycle. BSNL has limited to carry forward the data to up to 200GB. Furthermore, after the 80GB monthly data exhausts, BSNL will charge for data at 40Kbps.

The telecom operator BSNL will reportedly charge Rs 500 for users looking for local+STD services, Rs 2,000 for local+STD+ISD services and Rs 5,000 for local+STD+ISD+International services. Additionally, users will also get free Amazon Prime subscription for one year with this postpaid plan. The Rs 525 postpaid plans for other circles offers unlimited voice calls, 15GB data, and no data carry forward feature.
