Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has revised its Rs 399 prepaid plan. The recharge pack now ships with a whopping 3.21GB data per day.
As per Telecom Talk, this BSNL plan is an open market plan and is valid across the country. Earlier, the same plan used to offer 1GB data per day for 74 days. However, as part of the company’s additional data offer, the Rs 399 plan now offers its customers 3.21GB data per day.
Apart from the data benefit, the Rs 399 prepaid plan also offers its customers unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day for the entire validity period. Now, in total the telco is offering a total of 237.54GB data benefit. However, it is to be noted that in the plan, data benefit can only be used on 2G/3G networks.
Similar to the BSNL Rs 399 plan, Reliance Jio is also offering a prepaid plan of Rs 399 for its customers. The Jio plan comes with a validity of 84 days and it offers unlimited local, STD and Roaming calls along with 100 SMS per day. For the data benefit, the plan offers 1.5GB per day, after which the speed throttles down to 64 Kbps. Additionally, subscribers also get a complimentary subscription to Jio apps with the Jio Rs 399 plan.
Meanwhile, BSNL recently launched a newprepaid plan of Rs 1,312 for its customers with a validity of 365 days. The plan offers 5GB of data, unlimited local/ STD/ roaming voice calls to any network (except Mumbai and New Delhi) and 1,000 SMS messages.
