Box OneCloud comes to Android

The cloud service with host applications arrives on Android with around 50 different applications in its kitty.

Box.net, a cloud based storage space provider, has announced an update for its popular Box OneCloud application for global users, wherein they will get access to more than 50 apps for document editing and collaboration. The cloud service can be availed for free for storing up to 5 of data.

This new addition will allow users to perform various tasks like PDF viewing, word creation and document editing without having to download the file or even leave the cloud.

Working around the application is easy as users just need to tap on the cloud logo above the document to get a list of apps that can be used to view the document.

Box.net, in partnership with various mobile manufacturing giants like LG, Blackberry and Sony, had some time back announced 50 GB worth of space for users absolutely free of cost. This same service with a year-long commitment from the user will cost $20, which amounts to Rs 1,000 approximately, per year.
