Research In Motion, along with the launch of its new BlackBerry App store also announced the inclusion of in app purchase options for applications.
In application purchase is the latest and most talked-of app store functionality, wherein the user can buy applications within the BlackBerry app store rather than having to go to a separate web page to make financial transactions, as was the case earlier. The new BlackBerry software development kit with in app functionality has been available to developers since January 5 this year at the company’s official website.
This announcement follows similar announcements from both Google and Apple.
