Big Flicks now available for Sony tablets

BIGFLIX+ offers an elaborate movie catalogue for a fee of Rs 249 per month.

Big Flicks, a part of Reliance Group’s Digital entertainment business, today announced its tie-up with Sony India. Under the partnership, the BIGFLIX Plus application will now be available for Sony’s S and P tablets.

The BIGFLIX Plus allows users to stream and download a catalogue of over 600 movies at a subscription fee of Rs 249 per month.

Commenting on the partnership, Shreyash Sigtia, business head ,BigFlicks said, “We are happy to partner with Sony in order to provide a large premium movie catalogue to the movie buffs in India. This partnership would give our Indian audience a chance to experience a premium MOD ( movie on demand) service without the hindrance of any ads on their favorite Sony device Our partnership with Sony will surely help to strengthen and expand the concept of MOD (Movie on Demand) service in India.”

Tadato Kimura, general manager, Marketing, Sony India, said, “We even plan to extend our association with BIGFLIX+ for our range of VAIO laptops and Xperia Smartphones in the near future.”

BIGFLIX+ offers an elaborate movie catalogue encompassing diverse genres namely Action, Drama, Romance, Comedy, etc. for a fee of Rs 249 per month.
