Belkin Wireless charger for iPhone 8, iPhone X to cost Rs 3,800

Belkin maintains full functionality of iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X while charging.

Belkin, the manufacturer of mobile accessories, has unveiled the wireless charging pad BOOST UP for Apple’s latest smartphones iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. It will be available for purchase from September 15 at a price of $59.99(Rs 3,800).

The BOOST UP wireless pad provides the convenience of cable free charging and runs on the Qi technology, the latest wireless charging standards.The Belkin is optimised up to 7.5 W for iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X.

Apple has already announced that the smartphones will be available in India from September 29.Coming to the iPhone price, the iPhone 8 with 64GB of storage will be available at a price tag of Rs 64,000, while the 256GB variant is priced at Rs 77,000. The iPhone 8 Plus comes is priced at Rs 73,000 and 86,000 for the 64GB and 256GB variant respectively. The iPhone X is priced at Rs 89,000 for the 64GB variant and a whopping Rs 1,02,000 for the 256GB variant.

Belkin maintains full functionality of iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X while charging, including the ability to receive calls. It also provides a feature to charge through mobile cases up to 3mm thick. A connected equipment warranty up to $2500 ( Rs 1,67,500) is also attached to the charger. This warranty will cover the cost of the device it is damaged while charging. To avail, this add on feature users will need to register the device withBelkin to activate the coverage.

Recollecting some key specs, both the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus sports Retina displays with True Tone feature that adjust the white balance of the display to match the surrounding light for a more natural, paper-like viewing experience. The iPhone 8 features a 4.7-inch screen, while the iPhone 8 Plus features a 5.5-inch display.
