Images of Asus’s Padfone 2, which is to be unveiled at an event in Italy next week, has been leaked .
The Asus Padfone 2 will feature a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro mobile processor and will have a 4.7-inch IPS HD display. The Padfone tablet features 10.1-inch touchscreen display.
The second generation smartphone-tablet combo will have a smartphone with a 4.7-inch Super IPS+ HD display that will support 1280×720 pixel resolution while the Padfone tablet features 10.1-inch touchscreen display supporting 720p HD resolution. This smartphone will house a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 mobile processor with 2 GB RAM.
It will feature a 13 megapixel camera at the back and there will be a front facing camera capable of supporting 720p HD video chat. The Padfone 2 smartphone will house a 2140 mAh battery.
Basically the Padfone 2 smartphone needs to be slotted at the back of the Padfone 2 tablet in order to share the data connection of the smartphone with the tablet. The combination will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Asus had introduced the Padfone at astonishing Rs 65,000 price point. Now we will wait to see if the Padfone 2 will drop any jaws with its price tag.
