Asus Fonepad coming in April for Rs 20,000

Based on Intel's Z2420 chipset, the Asus Fonepad is likely to bring some new competition for the Indian tablet market.

Asus Fonepad tablet, which was unveiled during the Mobile world Congress just about a couple of days back, will be launched in the Russian market this month itself, according to a report of a website (hi-tech.mail.ru). It is reportedly to be priced at Rs 20,000.

Although the price is much more than what was being expected earlier but considering Asus’s expertise in making such products, the price tag is also justified.

Following the launch in international markets, the Asus Fonepad is likely to be launched in the Indian market in the month of April.
