Renowned tablet maker Asus will launch its new 10.1 inch tablet on 22 April in the USA, reported PC World. The tablet, named Transformer Pad 300, will be based on the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
The price of the tablet has not been divulged by the company but a retailer is taking preorders for the 32 GB version for $399 or approximately Rs 20,467. Also, the availability of the tablet in India is not known as of now.
Introduced at the Mobile World Congress earlier this year, the Asus Transformer Pad 300 will come with a docking keyboard with chiclet style keys. This tablet sports a 10.1 inch touchscreen display with WXGA (1280 x 800 pixel) resolution. The wide angle IPS panel can support ten point finger touch at the same time.
